Every true motorcycle lover has to have a thing going for vintage models. People don’t spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on vintage model vehicles for nothing: Buying one is really a great way of expressing yourself and showing 300 million other Americans that you are unique.
So likewise, if you like vintage vehicles, you must have at least heard of the Pebble Beach Councours d’Elégance, which is the biggest and most prestigious automotive event out there. Held every year in Monterey California, the Councours is where the most elegant, stylish and authoritative vehicles (what’s interesting is that speed is not a factor here) are gathered and given to knowledgeable experts for selection and judgment. This is all good if you are an automobile lover, but the best part here is that at this year’s event, motorcycles got some real attention too!
Hundreds of double-wheeled beasts of every style and category filled the grass side by side. These vintage beauties from 1920’s, 30’s and 40’s are bound to capture your attention and will leave absolutely no one indifferent! In between the vintage models, there were modern cycles shining in the sun, which were no less beautiful. Some models combined “old vintage style” with modern tech and engines, and that has the ability to make their owners really cool in a matter of seconds.
We had a really hard time of choosing a single favorite model in the mix of all the beauty, but in the end Brough Superior was picked as the winner. What’s your favorite vintage model you would like to own?
