The stage is set, the amps are cranked, and the search for the city’s best sound is on! Join us for the inaugural CME Battle of the Bands, a high-octane showcase featuring the most talented local acts competing for glory and cold, hard cash!
Watch as bands go head-to-head in 15-minute sets to impress the judges and walk away with the top prizes.
From rock and indie to metal, country, and funk, come witness a diverse lineup of bands performing on a stadium-level stage. This isn't your average local show—we’re bringing pro-level audio, a massive video wall, and a high-energy atmosphere to the Colorado Motorcycle Expo.
All bands will be playing in the Stadium Arena between the FMX & Harley Stunt Shows.

Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts bring forth new energy to music fans who love the heroes and outlaws of old. Influenced by the songs and personalities of legends like Waylon and Willie, they drive their sound with blazing guitars and a rock n roll attitude. The band pays respect to classic styles, but anyone can tell from their overdriven sound that they’re far from traditionalists. Recommended for lovers of both classic country and 70’s rock n roll.

A Denver Music Legend
Born and raised in Denver, Dave Frisk has been a cornerstone of the Colorado music scene since the late '60s. Known for his soulful, bluesy style and classic rock renditions, Dave has graced stages from local bars to major concert halls.
His musical journey began with the power trio JAPETUS and continued with legendary acts like HEAVY HEAT, BEAU ALLEN, and POINT BLANKSTERS. As a solo artist and with his band DAVE FRISK and FRIENDS, he's consistently shared the stage with Denver's finest musicians.
